Gum Recontouring Treatment
Periodontal diseases can and will return if you do not adhere to a strict regimen of supportive periodontal therapy. You are primarily responsible for preventing future occurrences of the disease. The best way to maintain the benefits of professional treatment is through the daily removal of plaque using the proper brushing techniques recommended.
There are numerous advantages to maintaining your periodontal health. Keeping your natural teeth allows you to chew more comfortably and enhances digestion. It also preserves a healthy smile, which significantly contributes to your appearance. For both feeling and looking good, nothing compares to your natural teeth. By combining your efforts with regular dental and periodontal visits, you significantly increase the likelihood of retaining your teeth for a lifetime.

Clean Inner Surfaces: Tilt the brush vertically and use up-and-down strokes to clean the inner surfaces of your front teeth.

HOW TO FLOSS?
Take a Length of Floss: Use about 18 inches of dental floss, winding most of it around one of your middle fingers, and the rest around the same finger on the opposite hand.
Hold the Floss: Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers.
Guide the Floss: Gently guide the floss between your teeth using a rubbing motion. Be careful not to snap the floss into your gums.
Curve the Floss: When the floss reaches the gum line, curve it into a C shape against one tooth. Gently slide it into the space between the gum and the tooth.
Move the Floss: Hold the floss tightly against the tooth. Gently rub the side of the tooth, moving the floss away from the gum with up and down motions.
Repeat: Repeat this method on the rest of your teeth. Don’t forget the back side of your last tooth.
Use Clean Sections: Use a clean section of floss as you move from tooth to tooth.
Dispose of Used Floss: After you’ve finished, dispose of the used floss.
